“An agency surveyed the area for a cash-for-work project, and more than 25,000 people were working with 450 AFN daily wage. However, the community focal points have forcefully taken 2,600 AFN per month from each worker”
Awaaz referred the case to the relevant agencies for further consideration and action. After conducting investigations, the relevant agencies confirmed the allegation and warned the community focal points and the money was returned to each single worker.
